Check out what they’re saying about Culture to Color around the web.
The 80-page adult coloring book arrives at a time when the neighborhood faces an uncertain future. Its tourist shops and restaurants, important parts of the local economy, have suffered mightily during the pandemic. Like other Chinatowns around the country, San Francisco’s ethnic enclave is an important gateway for new immigrants, providing jobs and affordable housing as well as social support.
P. 12: Did you know that coloring has healing power and makes coping with life easier? Do you think coloring is only a childhood pastime? Think again! Once only considered as an activity to entertain children, coloring for all ages has taken the world by storm.
Today we’d like to introduce you to Bibi LeBlanc. Hi Bibi, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story? My story starts in West-Berlin, Germany, though I now have lived more than half my life in Central Florida… I grew up in West-Berlin, Germany, at a time when The Wall surrounding my hometown was a very present reality.
Creative is not how Bibi LeBlanc would have described herself, but life had a different opinion. Last year, as she set out on an adventure to write a new chapter in her life, she ended up finding herself along the way.
Photographer and author, Bibi LeBlanc, has just released the second book in a series of adult coloring books featuring cities around the globe.
